Rollin' the +UPs at RiteAid 1/31

Okay, so after my household chores, in prep for my Superbowl Party, I checked in with Hip2Save to look at the latest deals. Well lo and behold, ANOTHER great deal at Rite Aid! First, I had to round up the necessary coupons. Then, off to the store!



(I'm starting with $34.95 in +UPs to roll)

1st Transaction:
I bought:
1 pint funnel                          $1.19    (everyone needs funnels!)
1/2 pint funnel                       $0.89  
Finish Quantumatic Kit          $3.99    (not sure what this is...but originally $10.99!)
Finish Quantumatic Kit          $3.99    (I have coupons, why not buy 2?)
KY Warming Liquid             $5.29     (Valentine's Day is soon ;)
KY Warming Liquid             $2.64     (B1G150%)
Chex Mix                             $1.50     (I wanted to test out an +UPs potential deal)
Chex Mix                             $1.50

$5.97 in +UPs   (could have used more.....should have used more)

Total OOP  $3.59     PLUS $9 in +UPs! ($5 for KY, $2 for funnels, $2 for ChexMix)


So, I was getting a $1 +UP for each ChexMix, and when I spend $15, I'll get another $5 +UPs!


2nd Transaction:

Total OOP  $0.00!   PLUS, I received $8 in +UPs!


But, I didn't get the additional $5 +UPs. (What's up with that?) I asked the cashier who told me that it has to be done in a single transaction. (I don't think that's correct.)
I said, "OK, can we do a return for these, and I'll buy another 2 bags?"
She said that that would be to hard and, instead issued a $5 Gift Card.
Then she rang me up for the additional 2 bags.

3rd transaction:

Chex Mix                             $1.50

Total Product + Tax   $3.00

I used:

$3 +UPs

Total OOP  $0.00!   PLUS, I received $2 in +UPs!

So, total spend OOP was $3.59. 

I used $20.97 in +UPs ( from my original $34.95, leaving $13.98)

And gained $19 + a $5 Gift Card for a total of $37.98 in +UPs to roll!
