Actually, due to the fact I had to do this deal at 2 different CVS stores, I was unable to roll my $7 ECB. So, I will have to bank it (along with the $5 earned) for a deal down the line...
Anyway, after reading about the Skippy deal using the $1/1 coupon from Von's/Safeway "Joy of Football" booklet, I had to go find that booklet!
I went to my local Von's store, where I found STACKS of the issue at both entrances. To be polite, I did purchase (2) 5lb bags of Russet Potatoes that were B1G1F. $2.99 for 11.5lbs of potatoes! (I read a tip somewhere to weigh the bags, as some are over 5lbs!)
The first CVS I visited only had 3 jars of the Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter. My plan was to buy all 9 at once, for a total of $6, add a chocolate bar or two, to get over $7 in order to use my $7 ECB. My fear was that I wasn't going to be able to find 9 at one location. So I bit the bullet and bought 3.

This is great deal! Amazon sells a 6 pack of the same size for $9.69 as a "Subscribe & Save" deal.
That's $1.62 each. Even without taking the ECB into account (since I'll use it as payment again)
I paid $0.60 each!
Yes, the coupons did "beep" but I did not have any problems at either store. A manager was called to override and the transaction went on...
I would recommend searching out the "Joy of Football" booklet. There are many great coupons! Most expire the end of February.
