Rollin' the +UPs at RiteAid 2/4 ***update!***

So here are the results of the 2/4 Rite Aid trip. It didn't go as smoothly as I hoped, mostly because the cashier was scanning my +UPs Rewards so quickly that all of them did not get added. Oh well, we figured out the problem and I used them in the 2nd transaction. The result? More OOP expense than I had planned.

1st transaction:

(2) Hall's Cough Drops       2/$2
I used (1) $0.50 mfr coupon and (2) $1/2 Rite Aid VV Coupons
Total 2/$0.50 or $0.25 each   + $1 +UPs!

(4) Betty Crocker Cookie Mix      2/$4
I used (4) $0.40 mfr coupon and (1) $1 Rite Aid VV Coupons

I used (2) B1G1F mfr coupons

(limit 2...I thought Old Spice and Gillette were on 2 separate programs)

(4) Gillette Deodorants     2/$8.00
I used (2) B1G1F mfr coupons
Total 4/$8.00 or $2.00 each  + $6 +UPs!

(2) Finesse Shampoo       2/$6.00
No coupons
Total 2/$6.00 or $3.00 each + $5 +UPs!

(2) Colgate Toothpastes   2/$5.00
I used (2) $0.75 mfr coupons
Total $3.50  or $1.75 each  + $2 +UPs!

(1) Excedrin PM     $1.99
I used $3.50 mfr coupon
Total $1.51 MONEYMAKER
-------------------------------------
Total Product $72.98 + $4.23 tax
I paid with $27.97 in +UPs and $17.14 OOP
(as I mentioned earlier, I tried to pay with another $13 in +UPs, but they did not scan correctly. I applied them to my next order)

I received $24 in +UPs!!

2nd transaction
(I need to look in to this too. Some of the things I bought didn't ring up on sale) Stay tuned....

Okay, so my questions about my 2nd transaction were answered by Randy, the nice manager of my local RiteAid :) TIP: Get to know the manager...introduce yourself and compliment their store!

I bought:
Chestal Adult Cough     $8.99
I used $1 mfr coupon
Total $7.99 - $6.00 SCR = $1.99

Chestal Child Cough     $6.29
I used $3 mfr coupon
Total $3.29 - $4.00 SCR = $0.71 MM!

ColdCalm Adult            $5.99
I used no coupons
Total $5.99 - $5.99 SCR = FREE!

ColdCalm Child            $6.99
I used $3 mfr coupon
Total $3.99 - $6.99 SCR = $3 MM!

Philips Earbuds             $7.99
I used $2 mfr coupon
Total $5.99 - $5.00 SCR = $0.99
---------------------------------------
Total Product + Tax $39.55
$9 in total coupons
$16 in +UPs
$5 in RiteAid G/C
Total OOP $9.55
No +UPs received.

I'll receive $22.98 cash back via RiteAid Single Check Rebate!
As someone (somewhere) wrote, "I'm trading +UPs for cash!"

My question regarded the wording in the Rite Aid circular (2/4 - 2/10) that showed the SCR on the Boiron products vs the February SCR Guide that stated the Boiron products must be purchased between 2/6 - 2/11 to be eligible for SCR.
Randy, the store manager assured me that if there were any issues with the SCR being denied online, that he would make it right!

So....FINAL TALLY for this visit:
Total OOP - $26.69
Product Value - $109.23
Received -  $24 in +UPS
Single Check Rebates due - $22.98!
