I love Target. It's my favorite store to shop in. I have a bright, shiny new Target less than a mile from my house. And another 7 Targets in a 5 mile radius. I used to go in (when I was employed) and look for clearance deals (mostly housewares and fragrance). I would buy "crap you don't need" as my husband referred to it. I was a "back of the perimeter" shopper, if you will. I would also buy my toiletries there, and when they opened the grocery section, I'd look there for clearance and try to match up coupons. I'd rarely get out of Target for less than $100. I did my grocery shopping at Albertson's.

Then, something clicked. I'm not sure what. It might have been when I noticed that Orowheat bread at Albertson's was always $3.49 - $4.49. And Target usually had it for $2.99. I think that's when I started doing my grocery shopping there. (I go to Sprouts for fruits and veggies, and I still go to Albertson's for meat.)
So tonight, I ventured out...we needed cheese, milk, Silk, bread, and luncheon meat. Oh, and ice cream. My Dear One needs his ice cream!
This may be my single most successful Target shopping trip...but I'm sure I can do better!
